Rum Flavored Turkey Legs Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 Cup (60 ml) orange juice
1/4 Cup (60 ml) rum
1/4 Cup (60 ml) melted butter
1/2 tsp (2 ml) grated orange peel
1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
1/8 tsp (0,5 ml) pepper
1/8 tsp (0,5 ml) ground ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
2 whole turkey legs
Directions
– Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
– In a bowl, combine all ingredients except turkey legs.
– Baste turkey legs generously with mixture.
– In a shallow baking dish, arrange turkey legs skin side up.
– Place baking dish in oven, ladle with leftover basting mixture from time to time, and cook for an hour or until meat is golden and tender.
