Rum Date Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| Pitted dates | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), quartered | |
| Walnuts - 1/4 cup, coarsely chopped | ||
| Candied red cherries - 4, quartered | ||
| Dark rum | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ice cream - 1 pint vanilla, softened | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a medium size bowl add walnuts, rum, cherries and dates. Combine and let the mixture stand for 30 minutes.
2. Combine ice cream. Stir to mix well.
3. Pour in ice-cube tray and freeze till it gets firm.
SERVING
4. Serve Rum date ice cream chilled.
