Rum Buns Recipe
Ingredients
| Hot roll mix - 1 package | ||
| Rum extract | 1 Ounce | |
| Powdered sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Soft butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Cinnamon | ||
Directions
MAKING
1 As per the package directions, prepare roll mix.
2 After the dough rises, roll the dough into a 10 x 12-inch rectangle.
3 In a bowl, add rum extract, powdered sugar and water; mix until smooth.
4 Spread the dough with soft butter and half of the powdered sugar mixture.
5 Sprinkle with cinnamon.
6 Roll in a jelly roll fashion, starting with long side.
7 Cut into 12 1-inch slices.
8 Into greased muffin cups, put the slices cut side down.
9 Put in a warm place and allow to rise until double in bulk.
10 Bake in 350°Fahrenheit oven for 25 minutes.
11 Remove from the pans.
SERVING
12 Drizzle the remainder of the powdered sugar mixture over buns.
