Rum Balls Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate melted | ||
| Corn syrup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Icing Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rum | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 8-ounce package vanilla wafers | ||
| Pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| 2 Tablespoons seedless jam or jelly | ||
| 1 4-ounce package chocolate candy trims | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Blend melted chocolate, syrup, sugar and rum together.
2) Mix in wafer crumbs, nuts and jam or jelly, preferably with your hands.
3) Take a level teaspoonful of mixture at a time and shape into small balls using palms of hands and then roll in candy trims.
4) Store in an airtight container and allow ripening for at least three days.
SERVING
5) Use as required.
