Ruby Spiced Pears Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 ripe pears | ||
| Cranberry juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pinch of grated lemon rind | ||
| Pinch of grated orange rind | ||
Directions
Peel, core and halve pears lengthwise.
In a medium size saucepan, combine all the ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until pears are tender, about 15 minutes.
Serve warm or chilled.
