Ingredients
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup shortening
3 to 4 tablespoons cold water
Directions
In small mixer bowl, combine flour, salt, nutmeg and shortening.
Mix at low speed of mixer until mixture is the size of small peas.
Add water, mixing at low speed until a dough forms.
Shape into a ball.
Roll out on floured surface to a circle 1 1/2 inches larger than inverted 9-inch pie pan.
Fit loosely into pan.
Form a rim; flute edge.
Prick generously with fork.
Bake at 450° for 15 to 17 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool.
