Roux Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
6 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/3 cup chopped green onions
Salt to taste
Directions
In 2 qt glass casserole blend oil and flour.
Microwave (high) 8-10 minutes, stirring once or twice until sauce is deep caramel color.
Add onions, celery and garlic.
Microwave (high) 3-4 minutes
