Rouille Recipe
I am sharing this recipe of rouille which is near and dear to my heart. The french rouille is most often prepared with vegetable as the main ingredient. I will prepare this rouille as side dish for a get-together I am soon going to host. Why don't you try this great rouille recipe and see for yourself?
Ingredients
1 small new red potato, quartered
2-3 cloves garlic
1 small red bell pepper, cleaned, cored, and quartered
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons warm water
5 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
1. To make the rouille, place the potato in a small pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook for 10 minutes, or until the potato is tender. Drain and place in bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade and blend.
2. Add the garlic, bell pepper, cayenne, and water to the food processor and process until smooth. While the machine is running, gradually add the olive oil.
