Rosy Cranberry Apple Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Apples | 6 Large | |
| Cranberries | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| 1/3 cup cider or water | ||
| 6 tbsp honey or white sugar | ||
Directions
Wash and cut apples into quarters.
Do not core or peel.
Place in a saucepan that has a tight-fitting lid.
Add the cranberries and cider.
Simmer covered 15-20 minutes, stirring and mashing periodically until the apples are soft and the cranberries have popped.
Put through a food mill or push through a sieve.
Add honey.
Taste, add more sweetening if desired.
Chill.
