Recipe Story

Chicken Honey Mustard, is one of my personal favorite dishes, that I display only on special occasions such a Jewish New year Buffets. Surely an eye catcher, grabbing the audiences attraction every time it is plated. A fun dish to play with, really creates a flavor expolosion in the mouth.

Ingredients

 Chicken pieces4 Pound
 Flour1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Pareve margarine4 Tablespoon
 Dijon mustard1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Honey1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Chicken bouillon1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Roasted almonds2 Tablespoon (For Garnish)

Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a bowl, coat each piece of chicken with flour and set aside.

MAKING
2. In a skillet, heat margarine and brown the floured chicken on all sides.
2. Arrange the chicken in a greased pan.
3. Mix honey, mustard and chicken bouillon and pour this over the chicken pieces.

FINALISING
4. In a preheated oven, cover and bake at 250 degrees centigrade for about 45 minutes, until chicken is tender.

SERVING
5. Garnish with the roasted almonds. Serve hot over a bed of white rice.
