Rosemary Glazed Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
2 broiler-fryers cut up
1 large onion, cut into thick slices
2/3 cup catsup
1/3 cup vinegar
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon rosemary, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions
1. Place chicken, skin side down, in a single layer in a buttered shallow baking pan; top with onion slices.
2. Mix all remaining ingredients in a small saucepan; heat just to boiling; pour over chicken.
3. Bake in hot oven (400°) 30 minutes. Turn chicken, skin side up; baste with sauce in pan. Continue baking, basting once or twice, 30 minutes longer, or until tender and richly glazed.
