Ingredients

 Rose, sandal or kewra extract or essence
 Water3 Bottle (1l)
 Milk1 Tablespoon
 2 1/2 Kgs. sugar
 Coloring

Directions

Dissolve the sugar in water over a low fire.
After ten minutes, add milk.
Remove the scum with a spoon.
When the syrup becomes thick, remove from the fire and cool it for two or three hours.
Add any one of the essences.
The amount you need will depend on the strength of the essence used.
Strain the syrup, add a few drops of coloring red for rose, green for kewra and yellow for sandal.
Shake well and store in a cool place.
