Rose Hip Syrup Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe red rose hips - 2 ½ lb | ||
| Water | 3 Pint | |
| Sugar | 1 1/4 Pound | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Clean rose hips by washing and remove calyces.
2. Pass it through mincer and add boiling water.
MAKING
3. Boil the water and remove from heat and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
4. Strain the mixture by passing it through cloth or jelly bag and keep the mixture overnight.
5. Reduce the mixture to 1 ½ pints by boiling. Measure the mixture before cooking.
6. Add sugar and stir until the sugar disintegrates and boil it hard for about 5 minutes.
7. Leave the mixture until cold.
8. Add the mixture to ice cube tray and wrap the cubes in foil when frozen.
SERVING
9. Add the Rose Hip syrup cubes to some beverage of your choice.
