Rose Hip Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
| 5 oz rose hips | ||
| Cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Port | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika pepper | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pinch cinnamon | ||
| Pinch ground cloves | ||
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Wash and slit the rose hips, then crush them in the blender, or with a fork.
Mix with the cream, oil and port.
Put the lemon rind and juice, the salt, paprika, cinnamon, cloves and sugar in a small bowl and mix together.
Mix into the rose hip mixture.
Finally, stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
Leave for 20 minutes for the flavors to blend.
Serve this sauce with broiled pork or veal, and with meat fondues.
