| Tomatoes | 3 , peeled and chopped | |
| Instant garlic powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano leaves | 1⁄2 Teaspoon |

Directions
Add water, bay leaf, black pepper and 2 tsp.of salt.
Simmer until meat is very tender, about 3 hours.
With a fork, pull meat apart into strings.
Heat oil, saute' onions until golden.
Add remaining ingredients, including meat, and 3/4 tsp.salt.
Simmer 30 minutes, or until most of the moisture is gone.
Serve over fluffy rice.
