1 3-pound sirloin tip roast
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Trim fat from roast.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Insert meat thermometer into center of roast.
Place roast, fat side up, in center of the cooking grill.
Grill 1 to 1 3/4 hours for rare 140°F (60°C), 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 hours for medium 160°F (71°C), or 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 hours for well-done 170°F (77°C).
Let stand 15 minutes before carving.
