Roasted Piquant Pecans Recipe
The roasted piquant pecans can be prepared with either pecans or walnuts. Roasted in the oven with butter and flavored with hot pepper and worcestershire sauce, the piquant pecans can be served as appetizers or as desired.
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
1 pound pecan or walnut halves
Directions
In a small saucepan melt butter or margarine.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce and bottled hot pepper sauce.
Spread pecan or walnut halves in a shallow baking pan.
Drizzle with butter mixture.
Toss to coat.
Bake in a 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or till roasted, stirring occasionally.
