24 2 inch diameter oxtail joints
1 3 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1 can consomme
1 soup can Burgundy
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. garlic, crushed
2 tsp. whole oregano
1 tsp. whole basil
Directions
Put joints cut side up in a roaster; cover with remaining ingredients.
Bake, covered, for 2 hours and 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until very tender.
Serve in a nest of cooked lasagna or rice
