Roasted Tofu Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 CUP (125 ml) commeal
2 cups (500 ml) flour
1/4 CUP (60 ml) wheat germ
1 tsp (5 ml) curry
1 tsp (5 ml) dry mustard
Pinch of thyme
1 garlic clove, finely sliced
Salt
1 lb (450 g) tofu, cut into strips
1/2 CUP (125 ml) milk
2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
Directions
– In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients together. Dip tofu strips in milk and coat with dry ingredients.
– In a skillet, heat oil and fry tofu until golden.
