Roasted Soy Bean For Snack Recipe
Ingredients
| Canned soybeans-9 ounces-drained | ||
| Parmesan cheese-1 1/2 teaspoons-grated | ||
| Imitation butter-flavored salt-1 teaspoon | ||
| Garlic powder and onion powder-1/8 teaspoon each | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 250°F.
2. Oil a baking sheet and set aside
MAKING
3. On an oiled baking sheet, spread out the soybeans in a single layer
4. Bake in the middle of the center oven rack for one hour or till dray
5. Turn the oven control down to the BROIL setting and broil the soybeans. Ideally place the soybeans about 6 inches away from the heat source for one minute till they are extra crispy
6. Remove from the broiler and set aside to cool
FINALIZING
7. Transfer the beans to a serving dish
8. Toss in the rest of the ingredients and mix well

9. Serve immediately
