Roasted Peppers Recipe
Giuseppe's Homemade Roasted Peppers
Ingredients
| 8 medium, red, yellow or green sweet peppers | ||
| Olive oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Juice of 3-4 lemons | ||
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Roast peppers over an open flame or under the broiler until skin is dark brown and blistered.
Place peppers in a large plastic or brown paper bag and set aside 5 to 10 minutes.
Peel off the skin of peppers.
Put the peppers in a bowl.
Add olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt to the roasted peppers.
Mix them well.
