Roasted Garlic Stuffed Sirloin Recipe
Ingredients
| Head roasted garlic | 1 | |
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Green onions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 1 3 pound boneless top sirloin steak | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Squeeze the garlic from the cloves.
Mash with the olive oil and stir in the green onions.
Trim any fat from the sirloin and cut a horizontal slit through it to form a pocket the length of the steak.
Spread the filling into the pocket.
Use toothpicks as needed to secure the stuffing.
Rotate the steak in the Flat Standard Basket for 18 minutes for rare or 22 minutes for medium.
If not brown enough, position the basket facing the heating coils and turn the pause-to-sear switch to off.
Rotate 2 to 3 minutes more on each side.
Remove and slice thinly across the grain into thin strips.
