Roasted Garlic Dip Recipe
My family has a great liking for this Italian roasted garlic dip. In any of our dinner party, my mon always make roasted garlic dip and it is now her speaciality. The more compliments she gets the more she gets determinted to make it again.
Ingredients
| 2 whole heads garlic | ||
| 1/4" sliced off the top to expose the cloves | ||
| Extra virgin olive oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup nonfat mayonnaise | ||
| 1/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt | ||
Directions
Cut off the bottom tips of the garlic heads so they will stand upright.
Place the garlic in a small shallow baking dish and drizzle with the oil, allowing it to seep into each clove.
Roast at 350° for 45 minutes, or until soft and golden brown.
Squeeze the soft cloves into a blender or food processor fitted with the steel blade; puree.
Add the mayonnaise and yogurt.
Mix well.
