Easy Roasted Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Fryer chicken | 3 1/2 pound | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Melted butter, margarine or favorite basting sauce | ||
Directions
Wash chicken with cold water; pat dry with paper towel.
Lock the wings behind back; tie legs together securely.
Brush chicken with melted butter, margarine or basting sauce and sprinkle cavity with salt and pepper.
Center chicken on greased cooking grill over drip pan.
Cover kettle.
Cook 1 hour and 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and lightly browned.
Baste chicken with butter, margarine or basting sauce during last 30 minutes of cooking.
