2 wild ducks
 
Salt
 
1 to 2 cored apples or 1 to 2 onions
 
1 c. cooking sherry

Directions

Sprinkle cavity of ducks with salt.
Place apples inside cavity of ducks; place breast side up in roasting pan.
Bake, covered, at 325 degrees until tender, allowing 20 minutes per pound.
Add sherry 1 hour before ducks are done and baste every 15 minutes.
