Roast Turkey With Pine Nut Stuffing Recipe
The roast turkey with pine nut stuffing is a prepard with a whole turkey roasted in the oven. Stuffed with a filling of breadcrumbs with bacon, shallits, mushrooms, eggs and pine nuts, the turkey is brushed with oil and butter garlic mix. Ingredients
No. 48 turkey (4.8kg)
8 slices bread, made into crumbs
125 g butter, melted
4 rashers bacon, chopped
4 shallots, thinly sliced
125 g mushrooms, sliced
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/2 cup pine nuts salt and pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
Directions

Prepare seasoning, by mixing bread, half the butter, bacon, shallots, mushrooms, eggs, parsley, pine nuts, salt and pepper.

Fill cavity of turkey with prepared seasoning and truss turkey.

Brush turkey with oil.

Mix remaining butter and garlic together, and brush over skin of the turkey.

Roast breast-side down on Low Rack for 68 minutes on HIGH MIX/ROAST 180°C Turn over halfway through cooking.
