Roast Turkey In Foil Recipe
Ingredients
| Turkey | 1 12 Pound | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Butter | ||
| 1 recipe stuffing | ||
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brandy | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Thyme | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Rub turkey cavity with salt and pepper; rub skin with butter.
Fill turkey loosely with stuffing.
Place turkey on large sheet of foil in roasting pan.
Combine wine, brandy, thyme and basil; mix well.
Pour over turkey; seal foil tightly.
Bake at 400 degrees for 3 hours and 30 minutes; fold foil back.
Bake for 30 minutes longer or until turkey is browned.
