Microwave Roasted Turkey Recipe
|Ready to cook turkey||12 Pound, giblets removed|
|Fresh mushrooms||8 Ounce, sliced|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

|Instant chicken bouillon||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground sage||1 Teaspoon|

Microwave at HIGH (100%) until vegetables are tender, 5 to 8 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) until heated through, 4 to 7 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
Truss the bird for roasting.
Place turkey breast side down on roasting rack or on saucer in rectangular baking dish, 12 x 8 inches, or 10-inch square casserole.
Calculate total cooking time, allowing 12 to 15 minutes per pound.
Divide total time in half.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) 10 minutes.
Reduce power to MEDIUM (50%).
Microwave remainder of first half of the total time.
Turn turkey breast side up; baste.
Shield turkey with aluminum foil as needed.
Microwave last half of total time or until internal temperature reaches 175° when meat thermometer is inserted in meatiest part of breast and thigh on both sides of turkey.
Let stand tented with aluminum foil 15 minutes.
