Roast Stuffed Turkey Recipe
A good Roast Stuffed Turkey recipe is rare to find, you are lucky to have hit the right page. The main ingredient in Roast Stuffed Turkey is Poultry. Ingredients
2 packages (6 ounces each) Stuffing Mix, any variety
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, cut into pieces
3 cups hot water
1 (8- to 12-pound) turkey
Directions
Prepare stuffing by placing contents of vegetable/seasoning packets and butter in a large bowl.
Add hot water; stir just to partially melt butter.
Add stuffing crumbs.
Stir just to moisten.
Do not stuff bird until ready to roast.
Rinse turkey with cold water; pat dry.
Do not rub cavities with salt.
Lightly stuff neck and body cavities with prepared stuffing.
Close openings with skewer and string.
Place turkey, breast side up, in roasting pan.
Roast at 325°F for 3 to 4 hours or as directed on poultry wrapper.
Bake any remaining stuffing at 325°F for 30 minutes.
Cover the baking dish for moist stuffing.
If drier stuffing is desired, bake uncovered.
