Roast Leg Of Lamb Recipe
Ingredients
| 5 to 6 lb. leg of lamb | ||
| 1/2 cup low calorie Italian dressing | ||
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Rosemary | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Mace | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Wipe lamb with damp cloth.
Puncture lamb with long sharp spear or poultry pin.
Place on a rack in roasting pan, fat side up.
Blend remaining ingredients; pour over lamb.
Roast uncovered at 325°F (165°C) for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
Baste with pan juices every 1/2 hour.
Add more Italian dressing and water, if necessary.
