Roast Chuck Neapolitan Recipe

| Chuck roast | 3 1/2 pound | |
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tomato soup | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 1 large clove garlic, minced | ||
| Oregano | 2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Generous dash pepper | ||
Directions
In large heavy pan, brown meat in shortening.
Pour off fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover; cook over low heat 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
Spoon off fat.
