Ingredients

 Hot & firmly cooked brown rice - 2 cups
 Boiling water1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Instant chicken broth and seasoning mix - 2 envelopes
 Onion flakes1 Teaspoon, dehydrated
 Parsley2 Teaspoon, minced
 Pepper1 To taste
 Few drops of sherry extract
 Margarine1/4 Teaspoon
 Frozen green peas - 1 package (16-ounce)

Directions

MAKING
1) Take a small saucepan and combine all ingredients in it.
2) Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes or until pears become soft.

SERVING
3) Transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

TIP: You can remove cover and simmer if rice and peas become too moist.
