Ripe Tomato Marmalade Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 peck ripe tomatoes
3 oranges
Juice of 2 lemons
8 c. sugar
1 lb. chopped walnuts
Directions
Cook tomatoes partially; drain partially.
Chop oranges coarsely; remove seeds.
Combine tomatoes, oranges, lemon juice and sugar.
Bring to a boil over low heat.
Simmer, stirring frequently, until mixture is thickened.
Remove from heat; add walnuts.
Pour into hot sterilized jars; seal with paraffin.
