Rio Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate | ||
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Instant coffee | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Whipping cream, whipped | ||
| Stick cinnamon | ||
Directions
In top of double boiler, combine chocolate, sugar, coffee, spices, salt, and water.
Cook mixture over low heat, stirring till chocolate is melted and blended.
Bring to boiling and cook 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
Then place over boiling water and stir in milk; heat thoroughly.
To serve, beat with rotary beater till foamy.
Pour into cups.
Top with fluff of whipped cream.
If desired, use cinnamon sticks as stirrers.
