Rigatoni Carbonara Recipe
Just thinking of taking a bite of the yummy Rigatoni Carbonara is making my mouth water! The Rigatoni Carbonara is filling and very delicious. You just have to try it!
Ingredients
| 500g rigatoni, penne or spaghetti | ||
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 125g bacon or speck | ||
| Eggs | 4 standard | |
| Parmesan cheese | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| black pepper | 1 | |
| Cream | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 60 Gram | |
Directions
Cook pasta in plenty of rapidly boiling water until 'al dente'. Drain. Meanwhile, heat oil in a heavy frying pan, cut bacon into 2.5cm pieces and fry until crisp and brown. Remove. Beat eggs in a bowl, add cheese, sail, pepper and cream and mix well Melt butter in frying pan, and add egg mixture, stirring constantly until it begins to thicken. Add drained spaghetti and bacon, mix together quickly and serve at once.
Note: It is important to cook and drain pasta before cooking the eggs and to add it to the eggs just as they are thickening. They must not overcook and should be moist. Serves 6 to 8.
