Ricotta Puffs Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon grated onion
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Directions
Beat cheese with egg until thoroughly blended.
Add grated onion and salt.
Mix well.
Toast 20 to 24 1 3/4-inch rounds of whole-grain bread on one side.
Heap cheese mixture on the untoasted side of the bread.
Broil for about one minute or until brown and puffy.
Sprinkle with paprika.
