Rich Cinnamon Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Shortening | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 eggs or 4 yolks | ||
| Cake flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar, add vanilla.
Beat eggs well.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture alternately with beaten eggs.
Chill for 1 hour.
Mold with cookie press or drop from teaspoon and flatten with damp towel covered glass.
Bake at 425°F. 7 minutes.
