Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
Dash of salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons water
Directions
Place flour and salt in a large bowl.
Make a well in the center and put into it the butter, yolks, and water.
Using your fingertips, gradually pull in the flour.
Mix until all ingredients are well combined and dough forms a ball.
Cover.
Chill several hours before using.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Roll out the dough and place in a 9-inch pie pan.
Prick the bottom several times with a fork.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until crust is crisp but not brown.
