Rich And Buttery Sugar Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter margarine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 3 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Add vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and sift or mix with a fork.
Add to creamed mixture.
Dough should be quite stiff but still a little bit sticky.
Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
Roll out a little at a time, keeping remaining dough in the refrigerator.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° for 6-8 minutes or until cookie is barely brown on the edges.
