Rice Stuffing For Poultry Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup long grain white uncooked rice
2 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
2 cups hot water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
Directions
Cook onion and celery in butter in large frypan until tender.
Add rice; heat, stirring often, about 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
Reduce heat; cover tightly.
Simmer about 15 minutes, until rice is tender and all liquid absorbed.
Use to stuff 4- to 5-pound chicken or duckling.
