Rice-Stuffed Steaks Recipe
Rice-Stuffed Steaks is a yummmy meat preperation that will definitely be a winner at the next informal family luncheon. I served the Rice-Stuffed Steaks last week for my family and they loved it. Try it!
Ingredients
| Long grain rice | 1 Ounce | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| 1/4 cup sliced green onion with tops | ||
| 6 beef top loin steaks, cut 1 inch thick | ||
| 1/4 to 1/2 cup bottled teriyaki sauce | ||
Directions
Cook rice mix according to package directions, for about 25 minutes.
Cool slightly; stir in egg and onion.
Slash fat edge of steaks at 1-inch intervals.
Cut a pocket in the side of each steak; stuff with rice mixture.
Place on cold rack of broiler pan.
Broil 4 inches from heat to desired doneness, turning once.
Allow 8 to 12 minutes total time for medium-rare.
Brush often with teriyaki sauce.
Trim with whole fresh mushrooms and watercress, if desired.
