Rice Griddlecakes Recipe
Ingredients
| Rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 11/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Shortening | 1 Tablespoon, melted |
Directions
MAKING
1.In a bowl, pour 1 cup milk and mix rice in it, and let stand overnight
2.In another bowl, sift flour, salt, sugar and baking powder together
3.Also beat egg and add shortening and the remaining milk
4.Take this mixture and add to the softened rice alternately with sifted dry ingredients
5.On a hot greased griddle, drop the mixture from spoon
6.Finally bake the mixture and make sure to turn the side once to brown the other side
SERVING
7.Serve with orange marmalade sauce
