Rice Pudding Recipe
Prepare to be astounded by the mouthwatering flavors and texture of the Rice Pudding. A very filling and tasty pudding, the Rice Pudding can be served for a party at home or simple enjoyed at a family dinner.
Ingredients
4 tablespoons short grain rice
2 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter, flaked
2 tablespoons half and half
A little grated nutmeg
Directions
1 Put the rice, milk and sugar in a 2 litre/3-4 pint (4-5 pint) mixing bowl, and stir well. Put the butter on the top.
2 Cover with plastic wrap and pierce. Microwave on full power for 4 minutes, then stir.
3 Microwave on power 7 for 20 minutes, stirring once. Stand for 5 minutes.
4 Stir in the cream and sprinkle with grated nutmeg.
