Rice Pilaf in the Microwave Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 2 Ounce | |
| Onion | 4 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| Celery | 4 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| Long grain rice | 4 Ounce | |
| Chicken stock | 3/4 Pint | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a deep microwavable container, place together butter, onion and celery.
2) Put the lid on and cook for 3 minutes.
3) Stir in the rice, stock and seasoning to taste.
4) Cook without lid for 10 minutes.
5) Mix quickly and leave to stand for 5-10 minutes until the liquid has been absorbed.
6) Add in the parsley before serving.
SERVING
7) Serve hot with cooked meat.
