Add rice, butter or margarine and salt, if desired, and thyme or marjoram.
Return to boiling.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes until rice is tender and broth is absorbed.
Thisrecipe can be made ahead up to this point.
Cover and keep at room temperature for up to 3 hours.
To reheat, place covered pan overlow heat.
Toss with fork after 10 minutes.
When hot, garnish with parsley.
