Rice Cream Recipe
Rice Creams has a lovely taste. Rice Creams gets its desired taste from rice, mixed orange and cream. If you like ice creams with your rice moulds then try this Rice creams recipe.
Ingredients
3 oz. rice
1 pint milk few tablespoons
Whipped cream
To decorate
Jam or jelly
1 or 2 oz. sugar
Little vanilla essence or grated orange or lemon rind to flavour
Lightly whipped cream
Directions
Cook the rice with the milk, sugar and flavouring in the usual way until soft and tender.
Cool, then stir in the cream.
Put jam or jelly into 4 cups or small moulds and cover with rice.
Leave until quite cold and set, then turn out and top with whipped cream.
If preferred the jam can be warmed slightly with a little water to give a softer mixture and put over the rice moulds when turned out.
