 3 pounds pork spareribs, cut in 2-rib portions
 Sauerkraut1 27 Ounce
 1 cup chopped unpared tart apple
 Shredded carrot1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomato juice1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar2 Tablespoon
 Caraway seed2 Teaspoon

Directions

Season ribs.
Place in 4-quart casserole.
Combine undrained kraut, apple, carrot, tomato juice, brown sugar, and caraway seed.
Spoon over ribs.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM HIGH (7) for 25 minutes.
Rearrange ribs.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM HIGH (7) 25 minutes.
Rearrange ribs and spoon sauce over.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM HIGH (7) for 25 minutes or till tender.
