Ribbon Pound Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 poundcake (frozen, bakers' or from a mix) | ||
| 1 cup semisweet-chocolate pieces, or one or more favorite jams | ||
Directions
Early on day:
1. Split poundcake lengthwise into 4 layers.
2. In double boiler, over hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate. Use to fill layers. Or fill layers with favorite jam. Wrap in foil or saran.
3. At picnic time, unwrap; cut into slices.
