vegetable shortening pastry for 2 crust pie
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1 egg, beaten
2 cups rhubarb, chopped
Directions
Line 8 inch pie plate with pastry.
Combine sugar and flour; add to beaten egg.
Stir in rhubarb; pour into pastry lined pie plate.
Place top crust over filling; cut slits for escape of steam; seal and flute edges.
Bake at 400° for 35 minutes.
