Rhubarb And Apple Jam Recipe
The rhubarb and apple jam is a cooked jam prepared with lemon juice and sugar. Cooked in a microwave, the rhubarb and apple jam can be enjoyed at breakfast with bread.
Ingredients
750 g rhubarb, trimmed and chopped
2 large apples, grated
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups caster sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
1.
Combine rhubarb, apples and water in a 3-litre casserole dish.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes on HIGH.
Stir twice during cooking.

Stir in sugar and lemon juice.
Cook for 5-7 minutes on HIGH.
Stir well to dissolve sugar.

Cook a further 10 minutes on HIGH.

Pour into hot sterilised jars.
Seal and label.
